Identity, Business & Organizational Strategy

Your vision deserves better than business as usual.

Let's look at what you're building, what it needs, and whether the way you're working supports it.

Let’s Work Together >

What you envision has implications for how you work.

The way you describe your business. The opportunities you pursue. Where your time and resources go. Those choices add up.

Sometimes the work evolves while the way you approach it stays familiar. You keep doing what has worked before, even as you begin to notice that something needs attention.

Maybe your positioning no longer reflects the work you do. Maybe several opportunities are competing for your attention. Or maybe the business is growing, but you’re still the person holding everything together.

I work with business owners and organizational leaders to examine those connections — to clarify their identity, establish direction, and look at whether the way they operate supports what they want to accomplish.

We can begin with what you’re noticing. You don’t have to diagnose the problem before asking for help.

ABOUT MICHAEL —

Who I am, and how I approach the work...

Across job titles and industries, strategy has been the common thread in my work.

Some people know me through fashion. Others know my branding or creative work, or the conversations I’ve shared about identity.

As an entrepreneur and through my work with others, I’ve spent a lot of time examining what defines a person’s work and how that translates into a business. What are you offering? Who are you trying to reach? And does the way you present yourself help them understand it?

At Indiana Fashion Foundation, I worked on developing programs and bringing people, partnerships, and resources together to support creatives.

In my most recent role as Director of Strategy & Engagement at Care Alliance Health Center, I worked across communications, community engagement, and organizational initiatives.

I earned my bachelor’s degree in psychology from Purdue University Global. My interest in how people understand themselves, make decisions, and work together connects to the questions I’ve asked throughout my career.

What are we trying to accomplish?

What's getting in the way? And what do we actually have to work with?

Organizational Strategy

Building systems that help teams coordinate their work and keep priorities moving.

Let's give the vision something to work with.

We’ll look at what you want your business or organization to accomplish and what is happening in practice.

That may mean getting clearer about what defines your work, deciding which opportunities fit, or examining the responsibilities and processes that keep it moving. We’ll also consider what you have the capacity to support.

The work gives you a clearer basis for making decisions, with priorities and practical recommendations grounded in your situation.

A few questions you may have...

How do I know which engagement to choose?

The working session gives us space to think through your situation together. The strategy review adds independent examination of your materials and a more developed assessment. If you’re unsure, tell me what's happening and I’ll help you choose.

Does this work apply to my industry?

My experience crosses creative businesses, nonprofit organizations, and healthcare. The starting point is your situation and the support you need. We’ll discuss fit before committing to an engagement.

Will you carry out the recommendations?

These engagements cover assessment, recommendations, and planning. If you need implementation support, we can discuss that separately.

Do I have to commit to ongoing work?

No. Either engagement can stand on its own.

How do we get started?

Schedule an initial conversation using either option above. We’ll discuss your needs and confirm the scope, investment, and timing before work begins.

Have a question before we begin?

If there’s something you’d like to know about the work, the engagements, or whether this is a fit for your needs, ask me here.
